Hehe, good questions. Solar_Form is not highly customizable in it's
structure. Though I had a thought. Paul, what about adding the
capability in Solar_Form to 'group' things together. Everything in a
given groups would be displayed horizontally rather than vertically(if
desired). This would give you '2 dimensional' capability with solar_form
and allow you to manage groupings of functionality together. Basically
add a new field to the solar form output that would allow you to set
'horizontal' or 'vertical' for the form and for each group. Form would
default ot vertical(one on top of the other) and Groups would default to
horizontal.
how does that sound?
Tino, the only way to control where things are right now is to extract
out the elements from the form and place them where youw ant them.

Subject: [Solar-talk] Forms, User roles and access
Hey there,
I am playing around with Solar and couldnt find any further information
at the Wiki/APIs.
I am looking for some basic examples / further explanations to the
following classes:
+ Solar_Form:
How can I customize the way the form is build up
concerning the design? E.g.: I would like to set some
fields next to each other instead of below.
+ Solar_Roles & Solar_Access
How do these classes work? I implemented already
the Auth process and would like to permit some users
only certain parts/methods of the application. Is this
possible with the mentioned classes?
Thanks for your time!
Cheers
Tino
