Hi Robert
I dont think you were being argumentative at all just debating a point which
is important.
I agree that x at X is or could be a valid address under circumstances so I
suppose it should validate. However in the majority of web based uses, in my
case anyway, I want to make sure that the submitted email address is valid in
order for my application to reply to a given email address, and x at x would not
be a valid email address.
I assume that the fact that for what ever reason it no longer is enforced in
Solar would back what you are saying up.
Maybe a option to check or not check for TLD in the filter?
Maybe I should stop bitching and write my own :-(
