[Solar-talk] Feeling 'Dumb'

Okay folks..

Has tar changed since the old days? It used to be tar -xf File
uncompressed the tar balls but god help me if I can get Solar to
uncompress. Keeps complaining about things not being directories or
something. So what in the unholy evils am I missing here..(Run tar via
cygwin on windows)

If I use gunzip I end up with Solar-0.28.0..... which is a larger file
but still doesn't seem to do anything else either.(tried tar -xzf as
well)
