[Solar-talk] Preferred Installation method of Solar with Zend Core

Folks, 

Using Zend Core for Oracle and I can't for the life of me figure out if
there is some way to use Pear with Zend Core. As far as I can tell the
answer is 'nyet' so what's the preferred installation method of solar
for use when using Zend Core? Tarball and put it in some 'common'
library directory?
