Ah, crap. Yes, now I remember why we had the conversation. Antti uses
the class differently, and in his use this is not needed. So when I
started to use the class, I saw that it was not working as intended. I
made a patch, but then understood how Antti was using it, and we
agreed on something that would allow both uses. Now we have to take a
better look at it and apply what we decided. :)
