hi Paul,
i've wrote it my self with some help from some tutorials (google it).
First look http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/1460131.
The "fetchTableCols" method is started from yours postgres driver.
I'm not an mssql expert, but i have to install MSSQL express for some tests and i've thougth to make something usefull. This is how i've found out that pdo driver do not support transactions and have something special when you try to connect on windows (that one it's on php manual, on comments).
Also, i will try to mantain the oracle driver and make other drivers, like informix and db2 (based on the pdo's driver).Unfortunetly a copy of the informix rdbms is hard to find; at my previos job i've worked with informix, but now i'm working with oracle.Sometimes , it's hard to find spare time to do this, but as i've said, i will do my best.
That's a minor think , make me a contributor will be to much. If you consider including oracle's driver and others (if i'll make them), i guess than i've 'deserve' it .

Regards,
 bogdan

hi,
long time that i didn't write to Solar's mail list.
This time i want to tell you that i've made some update on MSSQL driver. I know that you are planning to drop this, but maybe somebody will find it usefull.
I've made minor modification begening from existing driver (0.27.1).
Maybe Paul will have time and look into it.
Link is : http://solarphp.org/wiki/proposals/MSSQLDriver , and is not a proposal :-)

Regards,
 bogdan

Dude, this is *beautiful*. The part I was getting stuck on was how
to get the column descriptions and auto-increment flags; I just don't
know enough about MS-SQL, and here you have it. There's no need to
drop it now. :-)

Questions: did you write the code yourself, or did you use other
sources for inspiration, or what? I need to know so we don't violate
any licensing restrictions.

Again, many thanks! I'll include you in the contributors list when I
put it into Solar.
