Hi, Antti. Sorry to answer myself. I think that this is a good time
for a new ticket! :-)

With the new issue tracker, life became easier for us because we don't
need to 'remember' feature requests from time to time, after they were
(or not, if nobody answered) discussed. As Paul said, discuss them
here and after a while, if there is no answer or the discussion dies,
I think the best is to formulate a proposal and open a ticket. Besides
helping the main developers, it will help others that want to post or
follow feature requests and proposals (they are all listed in the
issue tracker).

By the way, the loadInterface() method is welcome and I used it some
time ago. :-)
