I have just finished the unit tests for a Pear::Event_Dispatcher port
that may be of interest for this (I hope so). It works on E_STRICT and
is "Solarified" - I just ported it to PHP5 and renamed it to follow
Solar standards, but at this stage I avoided to rename every property
or variable. It's a simple port, and the tests passed. :-) Let me know
if you are interested.
