Clay,
I haven't tested Zend_Mail for a long time; I dropped it after the
first problems I had with charsets. Zend_Mail's charset limitations
are documented, and as phpMailer deals with it pretty well, I came
back to it.

I took a quick look at eZ_Mail, and it looked too complex for the time
I had available. I think eZ stuff are generally too complex, to not
say over-designed because I haven't spent much time with it, but this
is a personal opinion. :)

We could take Zend_Mail and analyse/fix the charset problems. I would
like to port any mailer library to Solar; if you tell me which one, I
can help with the first steps.
