Yes, now the helper stack is the expected one. Hm, I'll bench both
approachs and maybe with a 1 billion loops I'll get a half second
difference. :-)

And, uh. I haven't noticed before the similarities between _getView()
and _getLayout()... it seems they are candidates for a future
refactoring. But just don't mind about them right now. :-)
