I don't know if there is a 5.2 build for Debian, probably yes in the
unstable or testing branches. Since a year or so I store a script that
compile the latest PHP always with the same options. So, after the
first compilation and all the dependencies headaches, it's very simple
to upgrade when a new PHP release is out; I just download it and run
the script, and I do not depend on package releases for PHP anymore.
