We're using 5.2.0 at Mashery as well. Given that the next release of
Solar won't be until January (my understanding, anyway), that gives
people another several weeks to upgrade.

True, but 5.2.0 had only been released as "stable" for one month at
the time this report was generated. Most prudent folks wait at least
a couple of weeks after a major PHP release before upgrading, to keep
an eye out for the occasional post-release patch that's been pretty
common in the 5.x series.

I'm in favor of the 5.2.0 dependency. The current version of Solar is
perfectly functional, so there are not any "critical fixes" planned
for the next release -- just enhancements and refinements. Those who
are not able to upgrade to the next version of Solar immediately can
do so "soon" ... whenever they get around to a 5.2.0 PHP upgrade,
which is highly recommended anyway.

Just my opinion, of course. :)
