I don't like them and avoid as much as possible, but for public,
non-moderated sites... and to avoid brute force authentication in some
cases... there are not many solutions as effective as captchas.

I meant: if an user has two opened tabs with different captchas, I
think we should tell which session value PHP should look for. Did I
miss something?

It seems Clay has some experience with this; his idea doesn't requires
db or sessions, which seems to be a better approach, don't you think?
