[Solar-talk] retain line breaks/newline

Hi Rodrigo

A question to you, or anyone who cares to answer, how do you maintain line 
breaks and new lines in freeform data returned from a mysql database and 
displayed in a html textarea?

Mysql retains the line breaks and new line formatting and returns it, Solar's 
escape() function has nothing to do with it, so what is removing the 
formatting?

Is there something else in Solar that is removing it? or do I need to do 
something else to retain the line breaks and new line char's?
